Monthly Forecast & Variance Review
Agree the boundary of the work, reporting dates, data access, review ownership and acceptance criteria. Align with the prime's baseline, tools and reporting conventions. Document assumptions, interfaces and handoffs so analytical work remains reviewable.
- Inputs From the Prime
- Agreed WBS and baseline, period-close actuals, earned progress, remaining-work estimates and the reporting calendar.
- Keystone Deliverables
- Reconciled actuals, EAC movement bridge, control-account variance narratives, assumptions log and a management review pack.
- Working Cadence
- Source handoff after close, draft review with account owners, then release to the agreed program-review date. Timing is set in the work package.
- Acceptance Criteria
- Totals reconcile to agreed sources; forecast movements are explained; exceptions have owners; the prime accepts the version and review record.
The prime retains program authority. Data access, security requirements, qualifications and the exact scope must be agreed before delivery.
